International Tourism Expo - HCMC 2012
(TITC) - From 13 to 15 September at Sai Gon Exhibition and Convention Center – SECC (Ho Chi Minh City), Viet Nam National Administration of Tourism in collaboration with People’s Committee and Department of Culture, Sports and Tourism of Ho Chi Minh City will hold the 8th International Tourism Expo Ho Chi Minh City 2012 (ITE-HCMC 2012).
Good signs from maritime tourism
In the first seven months of this year, as many as 3.83 millions of foreign visitors traveled to Vietnam. Of these, the number of tourists traveling via sea routes increased almost 55 percent compared with the corresponding period of last year. Heritage status sought for royal inscriptions
Monument inscriptions in Han (Chinese characters) and Nom (old Vietnamese script based on Chinese characters) at the royal citadel in Hue will be submitted to the UNESCO for recognition under World Document Heritage criteria.
